General questions 1. State border guard College (College) is a State founded in the national border guard of the educational institution. College objectives are as follows: appropriate professions 7.1 standards and national standards of vocational training, as well as in cooperation with the National Guard to develop vocational training programs and organize its implementation;
7.2. in cooperation with the National Guard to develop and implement a border guard skills and retraining Pro gramm;
7.3. in cooperation with the National Guard to develop examination content and methods, as well as organize the qualification examinations;
7.4. to ensure the educational process and the quality of the test to the vocational college education and professional qualifications recognised in Latvia and abroad;
7.5. State border guard chiefs of in order to provide theoretical, practical and methodological assistance to the national border guard units;
7.6. to promote, coordinate, and carry out research activities in college and the National Guard on border security;
7.7. to cooperate with Latvian and foreign educational institutions and national guard professional education;
7.8. to inform the public about the activities of the College and professional education opportunities in College;
7.9. to promote academic improvement of professional qualification of personnel;
7.10. State border guard chiefs of in order to participate in the National Guard to carry out the tasks delegated;
7.11. to perform any other actions in accordance with the legislation. III. the Council 8. Council elections organised by the Director. The Council is elected by only the category of personnel, by secret ballot. Representatives elected by the Council for the work of the academic and general staff, and from the student. 12.5. consider and coordinate the public statements of the College;
12.6. support and promote the activities of the Student Government, the student self-government regulations approved;
12.7. in Council regulation development;
12.8. proposes the question about the college name or legal status;
12.9. Approves the regulations on the study and test procedures in College;
12.10. Approves the regulations on academic and administrative positions in college and election procedures in these posts;
12.11. the review and approval of the College flag throwing, the coat of arms, emblems, logos and meanings sketches;

12.12. decide on other issues which, in accordance with this regulation within the competence of the Council. 13. The Board of Governors shall be convened by its Chairman, Director or not less than five members of the Council. The Council meets at least once every two months. 14. the Council are valid if they participate in the hearing at least 10 Council members. The Council's decisions shall be taken by a simple majority, a vote. If the votes of the Council members divided into similar, the President of the Council shall have a casting vote. 15. the Director has a suspensive veto rights in respect to the decisions of the Council. 26.3. the Assistant. 27. the Person elected in academic and administrative positions elected by open competition in accordance with the rules of procedure referred to in paragraph 12.10. 29.2. the research work, freely choose research methods, evaluate and publish research results;
29.3. submit proposals for action relevant to the objective of the College events;
29.4. submit proposals for the development of education;
29.5. submit proposals for the development of the College and internal policing;
18.4. to be elected for representation, Management College, institutions and decision-making bodies. 30. Reflektant intake in College organized by admissions officers. The composition of the Committee each year shall be approved by the Council. The Committee operates in accordance with the regulations approved by the Director. 31. 21.3. to fulfil their duties in accordance with the staff regulations and regulatory orders;
3. to comply with the Statute, the Council of the College approved regulations, working arrangements and job protection rules;

21.4. gently treat uniforms, equipment, premises, equipment and devices. 35. to defend and represent the interests of the student's academic, physical and cultural life matters in college and other institutions, the student creates student self-government. VII. Programme development and approval of 39.
