Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No 969 Riga, 21 November 2006 (pr. No 61 68) physical fitness requirements of the Ministry of the Interior system and the prisons administration officials with special ranks are Issued in accordance with the system of the Ministry of the Interior and of the institutions of the prison administration with a special service officer grade in the course of the Service Act article 4, point 2 is rule 1 determine the physical fitness requirements of the Ministry of the Interior system and the prisons administration officials with special ranks (officers).
2. Physical training requirements are determined according to the gender and age of officials: men: 2.1 2.1.1.29 years and younger-age group (V)-1;
2.1.2. from 30 to 35 years age group V-2;
2.1.3. of the 36 to 40 age group-V-3;
2.1.4. of the 41 to 45 years age group V-4;
2.1.5.46 years and older-age group V-5;
2.2. women: 2.2.1.23 years and later-age group S-1;
2.2.2. from 24 to 29 years age group S-2;
2.2.3. from 30 to 35 years age group S-3;
2.2.4. from 36 to 40 years age group S-4;
2.2.5. of the 41 to 45 years age group S-5;
2.2.6.46 years and older-age group S-6.
3. Physical fitness examination organised by the following disciplines: 3.1 men (age-group g-1, g-2 and g-3) in the 100 meters race, the attraction at bars, upper body lifting and lowering, 3000-meter cross-country;
3.2. men (age-group V-4) 100 metres race, to pull the rod, upper body lifting and lowering, 1000-meter cross-country;
3.3. men (age-group V-5) pull on the rod, upper body lifting and lowering, 1000-meter cross-country;
3.4. the women (age group S-1 and S-2) 100 metres race, bending and straightening of the arm support lying in the top part of the body of the take-off and landing, a 1000-meter cross-country;
3.5. the women (age group S-3 and S-4) in the 100 meters race, bending and straightening of the arm support lying in the top part of the body of the take-off and landing, the 500-meter cross-country;
3.6. the women (age group S-5 and S-6) bending and straightening of the arm support in the back, upper body lifting and lowering, 500-meter cross-country.
4. for each outstanding physical fitness examination discipline according to the result is assigned in the table (annex) the specified number of points (from 1 to 10 points).
5. Physical fitness test has been successfully settled when officials received at least one point in each of the physical fitness tests in the discipline and the total score is: 16 more points and 5.1 age group g-1, g-2, g-3, g-4, S-1, S-2, S-3 and S-4;
5.2. the 12 or more points in V-5 age group, S-5 and S-6.
