Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 1055 Riga 2006 (19 December. No 68 72. §) rules on stamp duties for the use of the subsoils license, common mineral mining permit and passport issued in deposits in accordance with the law "on Earth" article 10 quarter 1. determine Government fees and the payment arrangements for the use of the subsoils license, common mineral mining permit and mineral deposits of the Passport. 2. the fee for the use of the subsoils licences shall be as follows: 2.1 the geological, hydrogeological, inženierģeoloģisk, ģeoekol, and the logical ģeofizikāl to research for a period of up to five years-$ 75;
2.2. the geological, hydrogeological, inženierģeoloģisk, ģeoekol and ģeofizikāl logical research and geotechnical construction of category structure for a period of up to one year-100 lats;
2.3. prospecting and for further mineral extraction-200 lats;
2.4. research work-50 lats;
2.5. the vocational training-25 lats;
2.6. monitoring system the subsoils creation and monitoring performance for up to five years-50 lats;
2.7. ģeoekoloģisk research and subsoils monitoring system creation for a period of up to one year-100 lats;
2.8. mineral extraction (for license, issued by the Latvian environment, geology and meteorology agency law "on Earth" the cases)-150 lats;
2.9. subsoils of valid use of properties-150 lats;
2.10. the underground structures construction and operation, which are not related to the extraction of mineral resources,-200 lats;
2.11. recreation and tourism events-100 lats;
2.12. the acquisition of materials, palaeontological and mineralogical geological collection-building-50 lats;
2.13. drilling, repair, and disposal equipment-25 lats. 3. A State fee of mineral deposits passport is as follows: 3.1 for mineral deposits (excluding ground water) passports which result from national geological materials of the Fund-150 lats;
3.2. the mineral deposits (excluding ground water) passports that result from customer related material-100 lats;
3.3. for underground water deposits passport, if water consumption is up to 1000 m3 a day,-280 lats;
3.4. for underground water deposits passport, if water consumption exceeding 1000 m3 a day-late addition to 140 and 280 dollars per 1000 m3 for the next 24 hours. 4. A State fee of common mineral mining permissions are 100 lats. 5. A State fee for the use of the subsoils licence, mining licence and passport fee before the deposits they receive, through non-cash settlements (with transfer) and by payment of money by the credit or other institution shall have the right to make money transfers. The use of the subsoils licence, mining licence and passport can get deposits on presentation of the proof of payment. 6. If the use of the subsoils licence or authorisation, or the recipient deposits the Passport amendments on its own initiative, it must pay 50% of the prescribed in these provisions State fees. 7. A State fee for the use of the subsoils license and passport deposits including the State budget, but the national fee for common mineral mining permit-local government budget, which is located in the administrative territory of the common mineral resources. 8. the regulations shall enter into force by 1 January 2007.
