Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 32 in 2007 (8 January. No 2 8) amended the National Security Act issued in the Republic of Latvia article 81 of the Constitution in order to make the National Security Act (Republic of Latvia Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2001, nr. 3; 2002, 1, 12 no, 12, 23; 2003. No; 2004, nr. 9; 2005, 2, 10, 11 no, 1, 14; 2006. no; Latvian journal, 2006, 180, 183. No.) the following amendments: 1. To supplement article 7 of the second paragraph of point 3 of the second sentence the following wording: "taking parliamentary control, the Parliament's National Security Commission members or its authorised officers, which is the first category special permit for access to State secrets, has the right to carry out inspections of national security institutions and familiarize yourself with the necessary information and documents, to hear national security officials, to examine the intelligence, counterintelligence activities and operational activities the legality and validity of the measure;".
2. in article 9: make paragraph 3 by the following: "3) run by the National Security Council and the virtue of the institutions the activities of Ministers, national security;"
Add to article paragraph 6 by the following: "6) received from public security authorities with information affecting or likely to affect the national security interests by not revealing details of information sources."
3. Supplement article 15 with the fourth paragraph as follows: "(4) the national security coordination of their action in accordance with national security policy to ensure the national security authorities."
4. in article 15.1: make the first paragraph by the following: "(1) the information analysis Department is under the supervision of the Cabinet existing national regulatory authority in accordance with the procedure prescribed by law by the national, North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and European Union security policy planning and forecasting risk information needed for selection without using operational methods, its processing, analysis and dissemination of the national and international levels.";
Add to the second part of paragraph 5 with the following: "(5)) provides the national security authorities of the work of the Council." Prime Minister a. Halloween Justice Minister g. Smith
