No. 14 21) amendments to the Cabinet of Ministers of 20 April 2004, regulations No 354 "provisions on essential requirements for cosmetic products and their supervisory order" Issued in accordance with the law "on conformity assessment" article 7, first subparagraph, and the consumer protection law is article 21, first paragraph 1. make the Cabinet of 20 April 2004, regulations No 354 "provisions on essential requirements for cosmetic products and their supervisory arrangements" (Latvian journal , 2004, 68, no. 185; 2005, 8, 63, 157, no. 201; 2006, 90, 149. No.) 1.1. the following amendments: replace the text, the words "the Minister of the environment approved the list of dangerous chemicals" with the words "regulations for dangerous chemical substances list"; 1.2. to supplement paragraph 5 with the second sentence as follows: "the following warning information does not exempt from the examination of the person responsible for the rest of the requirements of these rules."; 1.3. to supplement the information in reference to European Union directives, paragraph 1 with 55. subparagraph by the following: "55) Commission on 29 September 2006, Directive 2006/78/EC, amending Council Directive 76/768/EEC, concerning cosmetic products, for the purposes of adapting Annex II thereto to technical progress (text with EEA relevance)". 1.4. make 2.229. paragraph by the following: "229.419.

1. category 1 material and category 2 material as defined in European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 1774/2002, respectively, in articles 4 and 5 (OJ L 273, 10.10.2002, p. 1), and ingredients derived from it Category 1 material and Category 2 material as defined in articles 4 and 5 respectively of Regulation (EC) 1774/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council (OJ L 273 , 10.10.2002, p. 1), and ingredients derived therefrom "2. That provision and paragraph 1.4 1.3 shall enter into force by March 30, 2007.
