Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 574 Riga 2015 (6 October. No 53 11) amendments to the Cabinet of Ministers on 16 September 2003, regulations No. 526 "illegally exported art and antique items return order" Issued in accordance with the law "on the protection of cultural monuments" in the fourth paragraph of article 18.2 do Cabinet of 16 September 2003, regulations No. 526 "illegally exported art and antique items return procedures" (Latvian journal, 2003, nr. 129.218. nr. 2013;) the following amendments : 1. To supplement the provisions of paragraph 2.1 the following: "2.1 Exchange of information using the internal market information system (IMI) in accordance with the provisions of law concerning the protection of personal data and privacy. The inspection determined as responsible authority for cultural objects. The exchange of information in addition to the IMI system can use other means of communication. " 2. Make paragraph 3 by the following: "3. the provisions relating to cultural objects, where a cultural object before or after the illegal export of the requesting State is a State in the protection as part of the heritage, including art and antique subjects." 3. Make paragraph 5 by the following: "5. the inspection started illegally imported cultural objects in search of Latvia based on IMI registered application." 4. Replace paragraphs 11 and 19, the words "two months" with the words "six months". 5. Supplement with 25.1 points as follows: "beginning with the 15.6 18 December 2015, inspection every five years, send a report to the Commission on the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 may 2014. Directive No. 2014/60/EU on cultural objects unlawfully removed from the territory of a Member State returns and amending Regulation (EC) no 1024/2012 (recast), applied." 6. Make the informative reference to European Union directives as follows: "Informative reference to European Union directives, the regulations include provisions resulting from: 1) of the Council of 15 March 1993 of Directive 93/7/EEC on cultural objects unlawfully removed from the territory of a Member State return; 2) of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 February 1997 Directive No. 96/100/EC amending the annex to Directive 93/7/EEC on the introduction of cultural objects back to the Member State unlawfully removed from its territory; 3) of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 June 2001 directive 2001/38/EC amending Council Directive 93/7/EEC on the return of cultural objects unlawfully removed from the territory of the Member States; 4) European Parliament and Council of 15 may 2014. Directive No. 2014/60/EU on cultural objects unlawfully removed from the territory of a Member State returns and amending Regulation (EC) no 1024/2012 (revised edition).
