Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 701 in Riga in 2007 (on 16 October. No 58. § 12) strategic trade control regulations Issued by the Committee in accordance with the strategic movement of article 12 of the law the second part i. General questions 1. Strategic trade control (hereinafter-the Committee) is the Cabinet of Ministers established the Inter-Ministerial Committee. 2. The task of the Committee is to manage and develop the strategic goods from the mark for the production, storage, use, export, import and transit control system, as well as to implement strategic product licensing and control. II. the functions and duties of the Committee 3. 4.3. prepare proposals for projects relating to cooperation with the international chemical, biological and other weapons of mass destruction, prevent and control organizations and other national export control authorities, as well as with the export control regimes;
4.4. to prepare and submit proposals to the Minister of Foreign Affairs on the accession of the Republic of Latvia to international weapons of mass destruction, not the distribution of conventions and treaties, as well as a member of the relevant international organisations.
