Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 73 in Riga in 2008 February 5 (pr. Nr. 30. § 7) rules on Sports Federation recognition criteria and procedures Issued pursuant to article 10 of the law of sports, the fourth part i. General question 1. rules shall lay down the criteria and arrangements for the sports federations granting or withdrawing the right to manage and coordinate work in the sport or area of the country, as well as to represent the country in the relevant international sports organisations. II. the sports federations of the recognition criteria 2. Sports Federation can be recognized and have the rights to manage and coordinate work in the sport or area of the country, as well as to represent the country in international sports organisations concerned, if it meets the following criteria: 2.1 the statutory objective of the action is the sport or the scope of the development of the country;
2.2. the sports federations represented in the sports or activities are organised sports competitions;
2.3. sport federations in the Executive Body has at least three members.
2.4. Sports Federation has established a home page on the internet. III. procedure for the recognition of a Federation Sport 3. Sports Federation To be eligible for the status of a recognised Sports Federation, it shall submit the application in the management of Sport. The application shall specify: 3.1 Sports Federation's name, registration number, legal and actual address, contact numbers and website address on the internet;
3.2. sports or activities that the Sports Federation wants to be recognized;
3.3. the number of persons in the country dealing with the sport or active in this field;
3.4. the relevant international sports organisations or organisations official title and its translation into Latvian language;
3.5. the relevant sport or activities organized competitions;
3.6. recognition of the need for justification. 4. Sports Federation sports federations shall accompany the application to the Member list. The list shall indicate the Member's name, registration number, registered office (legal person) or the name, surname, personal code, and the declared place of residence (physical person). 5. If the sport or the scope of the international sports organisation is not recognised in the international information Olympics Committee or international sports federations (GAISF) General Association Member, Sports Federation for the sport or the scope of the international sports organisations shall submit the following additional information, adding the Latvian language translations of documents: 5.1 the organization name and address;
5.2. a copy of the Statute of the Organization;
5.3. list of members. 6. Sports Federation and its compliance with the documents submitted that rule 2., 3., 4. and 5., sports performance, a Federation sport Federation involved in the number of members, the members of a Federation sport reception conditions and other sport federations action sports industry related issues considered and reasoned opinion on sports federations or refusal of sports administration gives sports federations Commission (hereinafter the Commission). 7. 12.4. you have received a negative Latvian National Sports Council opinion of 8 of these regulations, in the case referred to in paragraph;
12.5. a decision is taken on recognition of one Sports Federation rules referred to in paragraph 9. 13. If Sports Federation is recognized by the sports administration Sports Federation issued its certificate of recognition (annex). 14. If the decision is taken to refuse to recognise the sport Federation, a new application for recognition of a Sports Federation can be submitted not earlier than three months from the date of entry into force of the decision on the refusal to recognise Sports Federation. 15. Sports Department organizes and directs the sports federations recognised by the electronic register (hereinafter register). The registry is a national information system. The register shall contain the following information: 15.1. sport federations;
15.2. Sports Federation's registered office;
15.3. the sport or activity in which the Sports Federation is recognized;
15.4. sport federations and the date of recognition recognition of the number of the licence;
15.5. the international sports federations, which represents the name of a Sports Federation;
15.6. sports federations e-mail address, website, contact phone and the actual address. 16. the register shall be publicly accessible sports administration website on the internet. 17. the Commission consists of seven people create a sports administration. IV. the status of a recognised sports federations recognised by the loss of 21 Sports Federation can lose recognised sports federations status and rights to manage and coordinate work in the sport or area of the country, as well as to represent the country in international sports organisations concerned, where: 21.1. recognised Sports Federation's activities do not comply with the laws and regulations in the field of sport, sports federations recognised by statute or sports ethics;
21.2. the recognised Sports Federation organized in or support them in sporting events has not adhered to the equal opportunities, fair game or security principle;
21.3. the recognised Sports Federation has not informed the administration of the Sport that the sporting Federation has changed the actual address, telephone, fax number or e-mail address;
21.4. in Sports Federation recognized by the Ministry of education and science or sports administration request not provided information related to the Sports Federation's operation, including the implementation of the programme, information about new talented athletes and other sports federations recognised by activities and organised or supported. 22. If the sports authority receives an application or find that a recognised Sports Federation has not adhered to these rules any conditions referred to in paragraph 21, the Sports Authority assess it and, if necessary, the relevant information shall be referred to the Commission for examination and for an opinion. 23. If the sports authority establishes that the approved Sports Federation has not adhered to these rules any conditions referred to in paragraph 21, the sports authority, depending on the offence shall adopt one of the following decisions: 23.1. instructs the Executive Body recognized sports federations to prevent a determined period whether or not the infringement found;
23.2. establish recognised Sports Federation of the probationary period, not longer than six months, or the non-compliance found;

V. concluding questions 28. Sport federations recognized until this date of entry into force of the provisions to retain their status. 29. the sports authority after 31 December 2009 assesses that rule 28, paragraph recognized Federation compliance with this provision, in paragraph 2, the said criteria and shall take a decision on the status of a recognised Sports Federation rescinded those federations which do not meet the requirements of this regulation.
