Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 97 in Riga 2008. on 11 February (pr. 8. § 20) procedures for the granting of national aid for the development of the forestry sector in 2008, Issued under the agricultural and rural development Act article 5, fourth paragraph i. General questions 1. determines the procedure for the granting of national aid for the development of the forestry sector (hereinafter referred to as aid) in 2008. 2. 4.1.3. the forest sector at all levels of education, including the development of further education-500 000 lats;
4.1.4. information on the forest sector for production and distribution – 80 000 lats;
4.1.5. logistics support and independent systems determine the development of the project-50 000 lats;
4.2. public awareness and education projects-800 000 lats: 4.2.1. forest sector image-300 000 lats;
4.2.2. the school youth education category and contests-200 000 lats;

4.3. other projects-350 000 lats. 5. the total amount of funding research projects is 1 350 000 lats, including: 5.1 in 2007 initiated a long-term project of tasks-360 000 lats;

5.4. projects in areas that have not been defined in point 6 of these regulations,-250 000 lats. 6. Research project priority areas for 2008:6.1. new wood and other products and innovative technologies;
6.2. the assessment of forest biodiversity;
6.3. the role of forests in climate change mitigation and adaptation to climate change. 7. To support development projects may apply to any natural or legal person (hereinafter applicant). 15.2. writing to the Ministry of agriculture (hereinafter the Ministry) for compliance with the application of this provision in paragraph 14 above;

19.2.3. final settlement-after reviewing is approved by the Council;
19.2.4. funding changes in any of these sections of the agreement does not exceed 10% of the total funding of the contract agreed with the service;
19.2.5. the aid is paid to the non-cash form of settlement projects implementing the specified bank account;
19.3. the requirement that the dissemination of any information about the project, indicate the reference to donor-Forest Development Fund;
19.4. the condition that the research project report places the Latvian Agricultural University's science research database. 20. The applicant within 10 working days after the receipt of the notification of award of the aid shall be submitted to the Department the information required for the preparation of the Treaty. If the information is not submitted within the prescribed time, the service will inform the Council and it shall have the power to review the decision on the granting of aid. 21. Service: 21.1. within five working days after the conclusion of the contract in advance the cost of implementing the project, subject to this terms and conditions of the contract;
21.2. within five working days of the project reviews and summarizes the information gathered electronically transmit to the Ministry;
21.3. Council decision on the approval of the report of receipt within five working days of the settlement with the project promoter carries out;

21.6. Contracting with outside experts, of the Council on the granting of aid.
