Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 164 in Riga, 10 March 2008 (pr. No 15. § 12) National Agency "hockey and skating sports school" Regulations Issued under the public law agency 8. the third paragraph of article i. General questions 1. public agency "hockey and skating sports school" (further – the Agency) is the Minister of education and science under the supervision of the national regulatory authority. Minister of education and science implemented the Agency's monitoring of the Ministry of education and science. 2. the Agency is designed to prepare the Latvian National random participants Launches Olympic Games, world and European Championships, as well as Latvian National made a random reserve hockey and figure skating šorttrek. II. Agency functions, tasks and rights 3. the Agency shall have the following functions: 3.1 to participate in sports policy achievements in sport, high as well as children and young people in sport;

4.4. provide opportunities for students to develop sportsmanship, physical characteristics and abilities, as well as appropriate logistics base;
4.5. the motivation of athletes develop their ability to reach high results of ice hockey, and figure skating šorttrek sports competitions;
4.6. employ different age children and youth hockey, and figure skating šorttrek sports;
4.7. promote general physical development, generating interest in the sport in General, as well as enabling you to practise hockey, figure skating and šorttrek;
4.8. promoting sports the education programmes of further training of educators;
4.9 implement vocational guidance education of sports programs involving children and young people are provided with the opportunity to attend free of charge sports activities related to the implementation of the programme concerned. 5. the Agency shall have the following rights: 5.1. to request and receive from State and local government institutions, as well as the laws and regulations-prescribed-from individuals for the functions of the Agency the necessary information;
5.2. get paid for providing public services-competition, seminars, and other sporting events, trainers;
5.3. receive donations and donations. III. Agency governance 6. The Agency shall be managed by the Director of the Agency. The composition of the Board shall include State and local governments authorized, sport industry, non-governmental organizations authorized representatives, representative of the Latvian Ice Hockey Federation and Latvia's Skating Association representative. 9. the Advisory Board has the following tasks: promoting agency 9.1 development of effective implementation of the strategy;
9.2. to make recommendations to the Minister of education and science, to ensure the functioning of the Agency's compliance with the policy and strategy of sport;
9.3. promote coordinated action of the participating institutions, in order to implement its strategy. 10. the Advisory Council shall operate in accordance with the Minister of education and Science approved the Charter. (V). the Agency's financial resources and assets 11. The Agency's financial resources in the national budget allocation from general revenue, revenue, foreign financial assistance, donations and gifts. 12. the Agency with its possession passed to the Act public law agency in article 16.
