Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 245 in Riga 2008. on 8 April (pr. 2. § 22) the rules on the amount and the order in which the militia and national guard veterans sub-unit commanders paid national guard service tasks or training day compensation and remuneration for the performance of the tasks of the service beyond the time provided for in the contract Issued in accordance with the law "on the National Guard of the Republic of Latvia" article 47 in the first and second subparagraphs of article 48 and fifth rules determine: 1 1.1. and the order in which the militia and national guard veterans sub-unit commanders paid compensation for each service tasks or training day;
1.2. the size and the order in which the militia, who are involved in the performance of the tasks of the service outside of the contractual time, the remuneration paid.

3. National Guard unit commander organized and provide each militia and national guard veterans sub-unit commander service tasks and training day tracking once every quarter.
4. Compensation for veterans and national guard militia sub-unit commander cost according to the tasks of the service and the number of days of training.
5. the refund shall be paid not less frequently than once every calendar quarter.
6. The amount of the refund to the militia for one service tasks or training day is 5% of the professional service soldier's monthly base salary in accordance with the laws and regulations governing the remuneration of professional soldiers.
7. The amount of the refund to the militia the militia rank as one of the tasks of the service or training day is 5% of the professional service soldier with the rank of soldier monthly base salary, the senior militia – 5% of professional service soldier with the rank of dižkareivj monthly base salary in accordance with the laws and regulations governing the remuneration of professional soldiers.
8. The amount of compensation the National Guard veterans for one sub-unit commander service tasks day is 5% of the professional service soldier's monthly base salary in accordance with the laws and regulations governing the remuneration of professional soldiers.
9. The amount of the refund to the militia and national guard veterans sub-unit commander is determined by multiplying the performance of tasks of the service and the number of days of training with the amount of the refund for one day.
10. National Guard unit commander organizes and supports the tasks of the service records of the day militia, who are involved in the performance of the tasks of the service outside of the contractual time.
11. the Militia for service tasks outside of the contractual time receive remuneration set out in the annex, according to the post.
12. Remuneration, calculated in proportion to the militia for these duties.
13. Be declared unenforceable in the Cabinet on July 1, 2003, the provisions of no. 351 "rules about national guard service tasks or training day militia and the amount of compensation costs order" (Latvian journal, 2003, no. 100; 2005, no 8).
