The provisions of annex 4.4 19. point (a) shall enter into force on the 3 April 2009." 3. To supplement the information in reference to European Union directives, paragraph 1 with 47. subparagraph by the following: "47) of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 September 2007 of Directive 2007/51/EC amending Council Directive 76/769/EEC relating to restrictions on the marketing of certain measuring devices containing mercury (text with EEA relevance)". 4. Supplement to annex 1 paragraph 19a the following wording: "mercury 19A. CAS no 7439-97-6 1. Prohibited the placing on the market: 1.1. fever thermometers; 1.2. other measuring intended for marketing general public (e.g. manometers, barometers, sphygmomanometers, thermometers other than for body temperature). 2. in point 1.2 shall not apply to: 2.1 measuring devices that the 2007 October 3 is older than 50 years; 2.2. the barometers (except barometers in accordance with point 2.1) to 2009 October 3. "

5. Delete paragraph 23 of annex 1 to 2.2 above.
