Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 344 in Riga, 19 May 2008 (pr. 31 to 36) protected landscape area "Ziemeļgauj" Advisory Council regulation Issued pursuant to the public administration Act, article 13 of the equipment 1. Protected landscape area "Northern Gauja" (hereinafter referred to as the landscape area) Advisory Council (hereinafter Council) is a collegiate advisory body that aims to promote landscape area of nature protection and economic interests of the landscape area. 2. The functions of the Council is to encourage and support collaboration between State and local authorities, associations and foundations, foreign and international bodies, and individuals, in order to implement the landscape area and protection and ensure the sustainable development of the territory. 3. the Council shall have the following tasks: 3.1 make recommendations to State and local authorities, associations and foundations, as well as individuals to improve their work under the landscape area and protection objectives;
3.2. to participate in the landscape of the area and the use of individual protection and nature protection in the implementation of the plan. 4. the Council shall have the following rights: 4.1 invite Council of sector specialists and experts, as well as other State and local authorities;
4.2. examine the landscape area conservation plan and landscape areas related to planning and construction, infrastructure development projects and concepts that can affect an ecosystem, and to assess their compliance with the landscape of the area and the objectives of protection. 5. the Council consists of one representative from the landscape area territory authorities, management of nature protection, Vidzeme planning region, State forest service of virsmežniecīb Ziemeļvidzem, the national forest service in the North East of virsmežniecīb, the State joint stock company "Latvian State forests" of the Austrumvidzem forestry, public joint stock company "Latvian State forests" of the Rietumvidzem forestry, national environmental services Lakewood regional environmental management, national environment service regional environment management in Madona, State joint stock company "Latvian state roads" path management and maintenance management Ornithology society of Latvia and the Latvian Fund for Nature. 6. The members of the Council: 6.1. inform the Council of their own authorities the Council views the matter at issue;
6.2. inform their represented the Council prepared the document and draft decisions. 7. the Council from among the members of the Council acting by a simple majority, for two years, elect a Council Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Council. 8. the President of the Council's duties in his absence the Deputy Chairman of the Council. 9. On the convening of the meeting of the Council shall inform the members of the Council in writing at least three weeks before the Council meeting. The extraordinary meeting of the Council of members shall inform the Council in writing at least a week before the Council meeting. 12. At the meeting of the Council with information on the management of nature protection to all members of the Council the Council meeting agendas and related materials. 13. the Council meetings are open to the public. They at least every six months. 14. the Council are valid if they are sitting on more than half of the members of the Council. 15. The Council decision shall be adopted by a simple majority, a vote. If the vote splits equal, the Chairman of the Board shall have a casting vote. Council decisions electronically to interested national and local institutions, associations and foundations, and individuals. The decisions of the Council's recommendations. 16. the minutes of the Council. The Council decision shall be recorded in minutes. If a member disagrees with the decision, the Council Member's views, at his request, be recorded in the minutes.
