No 36 1) rules for 2008/2009 school year and term start and end time are Issued in accordance with the General Education Act, article 4, paragraph 1, rule 16 to determine the 2008/2009 school year and term start and end time, those general educational institutions that implement the general primary education and general secondary education programs. 2. the school year starts on 1 September, 2008. 3.1-8. classes and class 10-11 learners school year ends 29 May 2009. 9. class 4 learners learning ends may 22, 2009., but the school year ends June 12, 2009. 5.12. class learners learning ends may 22, 2009., but the school year ends June 19, 2009. 6. the school year consists of two semesters: the first semester 6.1 runs from September 1, 2008 to December 19, 2008;
6.2. the second semester lasts: 6.2.1.1.-8. classes and class 10-11 learners – from 5 January 2009 to 29 May 2009;
6.2.2.9. class learners, from January 5, 2009 to 12 June 2009;
6.2.3. for class 12 students – from 5 January 2009 to 19 June 2009. 7. in the academic year following holidays learners: 7.1.-from the autumn holidays 2008. on 27 October to 31 October 2008;
7.2. The Christmas holidays – from 22 December 2008 to 2 January 2009;
7.3. spring break – from 3 April 2009 until 9 April 2009;
7.4. summer vacation 1-8. classes and class 10-11 learners-from June 1, 2009 until august 31, 2009. 8. the education authority alone shall decide on one week additional holidays class 1 learners. Additional holiday organised by second semester. 9. Education Authority alone shall decide on the project for the duration of the week. Project weeks organized in the second semester. 10. If during the school year there was extreme situations which cannot be foreseen and which sustained (at least one week) it is not possible to ensure the learning process according to the law, educational institutions founder of the particular circumstances of an emergency assessment is entitled to take a decision on the extension of the school year 1-8. classes and 10-11 grade learners.
