The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendments to the law "on the City Council, District Council and Parish Council status" to make the law "on the City Council, District Council and Parish Council status" (Latvian Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1994, no. 8) as follows: 1. Replace the fifth subparagraph of article 14, the word "legislation" with the word "regulations".

3. Express transitional provisions the following transitional provisions: 1.
