The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the law of circulation of weapons in the Weapons Act of circulation (of the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2002, nr. 14; 2003, no. 14) the following amendments: 1. Supplement article 1, point 44, with the words "with the exception of firearms for shooting with smooth-bore firearms and ammunition in the Republic of Latvia which are classified as smooth-bore firearms".
2. in article 3: turn off the first part of paragraph 5 and 6;

8. Express article 32 the following: ' article 32. (11) foreign nationals are prohibited from abroad to exercise in the Republic of Latvia registered weapons. 9. Article 33: to supplement the first subparagraph following the words "missions" with the words "accredited";

16. Supplement to the eighth article as follows: "(8) the European Union recommendations according to the model of the European firearms pass shall be approved by the Cabinet of Ministers."

The law shall enter into force on 1 May 2004.
