The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the law on fire protection and fire-fighting to make fire and fire Act (Republic of Latvia Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2002, nr. 23; 2003, 2, 13, no. 23; 2004, nr. 9; 2005, 2., no. 14) the following amendments: 1. 2. Express article 1 by the following: "article 1. The scope of the law, the law defines fire safety, fire and rescue service and organization system, natural and legal persons the tasks and competences in the field of fire protection and fire-fighting, as well as the State fire and rescue service and the State fire and rescue service officers with special ranks (hereinafter referred to as the officer with a special service rank) obligations, rights and remedies. "
3. Replace article 4, third paragraph, the words "the law" On public organizations and their associations "with the words" society and Foundation law ".

"
