The Senate shall be elected for three years. The Audit Commission has the right to consult all documents relating to the Latvian Agricultural University financial and economic activity. The Audit Commission's decisions can be appealed to the academic arbitration. 3.7. Academic arbitration shall elect by secret ballot the Convention for three years. It consists of five academic staff representatives who are not University administrative staff, and one student member elected by the student authority. The Latvian Agricultural University departments, institutions, commercial companies, associations and foundations 7.1. The Latvian University of agriculture structure of financial resources approved by the Senate, but its implementation of the budget controlled by the Audit Commission. The Latvian Agricultural University has the rights and privileges conferred by law, higher education and science institutions. 9. ADOPTION and amendment of the CONSTITUTION of the University reorganization or liquidation 9.1. Latvian Agricultural University Constitution may adopt and amend only the Latvian Agricultural University Convention. 9.2. The Latvian Agricultural University after the adoption of the Constitution and the amendments shall enter into force after being approved by the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia. 9.3. the decision of the Latvian Agricultural University reorganisation or liquidation shall be adopted by the Cabinet Minister of education and science or the Minister's suggestion.
