The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: amended Railway Act to make the Railway Act (the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2001, nr. 3; 2002, 9. No; 2006, no 1) the following amendments: 1. Supplement article 4, title and introductory paragraph, after the word "luggage" with the word "international".
2. Put the name of the article 10 by the following: ' article 10. Ticket properties international rail transport ".
3. in article 11: turn off the title, the words "and route";
make the first part as follows: "(1) the carrier rail passenger transport shall be carried out in accordance with the passenger train timetable."
4. Turn off the article 18, first paragraph, second sentence and second subparagraph.
5. Turn off the article 20, paragraph 4, the words "the Cabinet issued in rail passenger and luggage carriage rules in the order".
6. transitional provisions: to replace in paragraph 3, the words and figures "up to July 1, 2006" with the words and figures "up to July 1, 2009";
adding to the transitional provisions in paragraph 4 by the following: "4. the amended article 4 of this law and in the name of the introductory paragraph, the name of the new article 10, article 11 amendment of nosa in Kuma and the new version of the first paragraph, the amendment to article 18, first subparagraph and second subparagraph, exclusion, as well as the amendment to article 20, paragraph 4, shall enter into force on January 1, 2008."
