The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the law on the amendments to the Railway Act to make Railway (the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1998, no. 9; 1999, no. 5, 23; 2001, nr. 1; 2003, 6, 10, 23; 2004, nr. 8. No; 2005; 2006 21 no, no. 1; Latvian Journal 2007, 93 no) the following amendments: 1. Express article 22 the second sentence as follows: "Cabinet of Ministers determine the railway infrastructure design and construction, as well as the order in which they are accepted."
2. Turn off the second paragraph of article 23 of the second sentence.

4. Express article 33, third subparagraph of paragraph 5 by the following: "5) examine the construction plan of the railway infrastructure and make decisions for them, the issue of a building permit and control how the railway infrastructure construction participants to comply with this law and other regulatory laws, the construction requirements;".
5. Supplement article 40 with 2.1 part as follows: "(21) investigating railway accidents, people who perform this investigation has the right to get acquainted with the treatment of the authorities and to receive from them information on rail traffic accident victims ' State of health."
