Article 45: Supplement to the fourth subparagraph, the first sentence after the words "test requirements" with the words "the applicant and its basis"; to supplement the article with seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth by the following: "(7) where the applicant's professional qualification differs significantly from the corresponding regulated profession in the Republic of Latvia to the requirements, the authorities issuing the certificate of recognition of professional qualifications for regulated professions, the cabinet order, on a case-by-case basis, are entitled to the recognition of professional qualifications on the part of the regulated professions of the professional activities, if the following conditions are met: 1) the applicant's professional qualifications have been recognized in his home country at the professional activities that requires the recognition of professional qualifications on the part of the regulated professions of occupational activities; 2) differences between professional activities carried out by the tenderer in his home country, the Republic of Latvia and the regulated profession is so high that the additional application of requirements for the recognition of professional qualifications would mean full education programs; 3) professional activities that apply to the recognition of professional qualifications on the part of the regulated professions of the professional activities, may objectively be distinguished from other activities pertaining to the regulated profession in the Republic of Latvia. Institutions that issue certificates of professional qualification, take into account whether the applicant's home country can perform professional activities in isolation. (8) in the seventh part of this article referred to the recognition of professional qualifications on the part of the regulated profession of occupational activities which unskilled temporary professional services provider can endanger the health of a recipient of services and safety, this law shall apply article 42 of the sixth part. (3) where a person in education and professional qualifications acquired in the Republic of Latvia lays claim to a European professional card for permanent professional activities regulated professions or temporary professional services regulated professions in which unskilled temporary professional services provider can endanger the health of a recipient of services or security, in another Member State of the European Union or the European economic area country, European professional card application to adopt and send to the host State's competent institution.
