The Saeima has adopted and the President issued the following law: amendments to the law "on State social insurance" to make the law "on State social insurance" (Latvian Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1997, nr. 22; 1998, no. 15; 1999, no. 24; 2001, 15., 17. No, no; 2002; 2003; 2004, nr. 9, 5. No; 2005, 8, 24; 2006, nr. 14. No; 2007, 3, 12 no) the following amendments : 1. To supplement article 3 first paragraph, first sentence, after the words "additional expenses due to" with the words "child care and".
2. Supplement article 4 paragraph 6 by the following: "6) parental insurance."
3. Supplement article 5, third subparagraph, second sentence, after the words "maternity and sickness insurance" with the words "and over" insurance.
4. in article 6: make the second and the third part as follows: "(2) employees who have reached the age giving entitlement to State old-age pension is subject to pension insurance, maternity and sickness insurance, parental insurance and employment accident insurance. Employees who are beneficiaries of the retirement pension or disability-special pension beneficiary country, are subject to pension insurance, disability insurance, maternity and sickness insurance, parental insurance and employment accident insurance.
(3) the self-employed whose income reaches the Cabinet down payment minimum, the object is subject to pension insurance, disability insurance, maternity and sickness insurance and parents insurance, but the self-employed who have reached the age giving entitlement to State old-age pension is subject to pension insurance, maternity and sickness insurance and parents insurance. ';
Add to paragraph 2, the fourth subparagraph following the words ' one and a half year of age "with the words" and receive a child-raising allowance ";
adding to the fourth subparagraph of paragraph 10 by the following: "the 10 people who care) of children under a year old, and receive parental allowance.";
adding to the fifth subparagraph of paragraph 2, after the words "one and a half year of age" with the words "and receive a child-raising allowance";
Supplement fifth paragraph 6 by the following: "6) people who looked after the children who have not reached the age of a year and receive parental allowance.";
Add to sixth after the words "maternity and sickness insurance" with the words "and to" parental insurance;
adding to eighth following the words "maternity and sickness insurance" with the words "parental insurance";
to make the ninth subparagraph by the following: "(9) domestic workers to employers-alien who reached the age giving entitlement to State old-age pension is subject to pension insurance, maternity and sickness insurance, parental insurance and employment accident insurance. Domestic worker to the employer-the alien who is the recipient of a retirement pension or disability-special pension beneficiary country, are subject to pension insurance, disability insurance, maternity and sickness insurance, parental insurance and work accident insurance. "
5. Replace article 11, first paragraph, the words "disability, maternity and sickness insurance" with the words "disability insurance, maternity and sickness insurance and parents insurance."
6. Replace article 12, second paragraph, the words "maternity and sickness benefits" with the words "maternity, sickness and parental benefits".
7. Supplement article 13, third paragraph, after the words "maternity and sickness insurance" with the words "and over" insurance.
8. Supplement article 18, third subparagraph, after the words "maternity and sickness insurance" with the words "and over" insurance.
9. Express article 19 paragraph 4 by the following: "4) from the disability, maternity and sickness special budget being made mandatory contributions to the pension insurance of this law, article 6 of the fourth part 4, 5 and 10. persons referred to in point and the unemployment insurance of the article 6 of this law the fifth subparagraph 3 and 6."
10. Article 20: Supplement 1 and the third subparagraph of paragraph 2, after the words "maternity and sickness insurance" with the words "parental insurance";
adding to the fourth paragraph of point 1, after the words "national retirement insurance" with the words "parental insurance";
adding to the fourth paragraph of paragraph 2, after the words "disability insurance" with the words "parental insurance".
11. Supplement article 21, fifth paragraph after the words "maternity and sickness insurance" with the words "and over" insurance. The law shall enter into force on January 1, 2008.
