The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendments to the social services and social assistance law to make social services and social assistance Act (the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2002, nr. 23; 2003; 2004, nr. 2, 14., 18., 2005, no; no 2; 2006, no. 13; 2007, 12, no. 15) follows: 1. Article 1: express the following in paragraph 13: "13) professional rehabilitation-package of measures that provides a new profession skills, professional knowledge and skills renewal or development, including the acquisition of vocational training programmes for primary and secondary education degree according to the functional disturbance of the person type, severity and advance educational and qualification level; "
Add to paragraph 16, after the words "social worker" with the words "social worker" in karitatīv;
Add to paragraph 24, after the words "social rehabilitation" by the words "vocational rehabilitation".
2. Make the text of article 2 as follows: "the law aims to provide social work, social care, social rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation services (social services) and social assistance receipt, and the persons that have the right to receive the services and assistance, as well as social care, social rehabilitation and vocational rehabilitation services fee and funding principles."
3. To make article 9 the third paragraph as follows: "(3) If a person requires social services or crisis centre in naktspatversm, it shall apply directly to the service provider, who shall decide on the provision of the service. If necessary, a person whose residence is not detectable with naktspatversm or shelter, information and advice for local government in the territory of which that person is. "
4. Add to the first paragraph of article 13 with the following paragraph 9: "9) support professional social work in the implementation and development of municipalities. Support the nature, scope and conditions determined for the Cabinet. "
5. Supplement 13.1 the second subparagraph after the word "order" by the words "and the amount".
6. To supplement the law with article 9.4 as follows: "article 15.1. The National Agency for social inclusion (1) social inclusion National Agency (hereinafter the Agency) is the Minister of Welfare in the national monitoring authority, which provides social rehabilitation: 1) services using treatment;
2) provide vocational rehabilitation services to people with disabilities;
3) records of persons in need of professional rehabilitation;
4) implement professional primary education, secondary education, first level professional higher education (College of education), professional continuing education and professional development programs to prepare professionals in the profession, which requires measures of social protection of disabled people.
(2) the Agency shall be governed in accordance with the law of public agency approved rules, which also include the activities of the College regulations governing the requirements for college textbooks.
(3) the Agency's Educator pay determined by law on teacher pay. "
7. in article 17: replace the first paragraph, the words "social care and social rehabilitation" by the word "social";
replace the third paragraph, the words "social care and social rehabilitation institutions or social services" with the words "institutions that provide social services."
8. Make the text of article 41 as follows: "the right to carry out social work are persons who acquired a second level professional higher academic education or social work or karitatīv social work." The law shall enter into force on the day following its promulgation.
