The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendments to the law "on the protection of cultural monuments" make law "on the protection of cultural monuments" (Republic of Latvia Supreme Council and Government Informant, 1992, nr. 10; 1993, 24/25.nr., no. 36; The Saeima of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1995, no. 7; 2001, 24 no; 2003, no. 24; 2005, nr. 11) the following amendments: 1. Express article 6 by the following: "article 6. National cultural monument protection Inspectorate's regional national cultural monument protection Inspectorate of cultural monuments for the provision of supervision and control established by the national cultural monuments protection inspection, which the regional inspectors are directly exposed to the national cultural monument protection Inspectorate and shall operate in accordance with the rules of procedure. "
2. To make article 7, third subparagraph, in the last sentence the following wording: "the real cultural monument lists the land registry departments submit to the national cultural monument protection Inspectorate's regional chapter."
3. Express article 8 the third paragraph as follows: "the cultural monument seizures can happen, if the intention to expropriate owners has declared a national cultural monument protection Inspectorate, the regional inspector is surveying the cultural monument and the next the holder has sent instructions for use of this cultural monuments and conservation."
4. Express article 25 the first sentence as follows: "the money by renting out the municipal cultural monuments, monuments of culture associated with the business results of profit in the deduction, as well as compensation for the damage caused to the cultural monument, including a special budget of the local government revenues."
The law shall enter into force on 1 January 2009.
The Parliament adopted the law in 2008 on October 23.
