The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the public entertainment and celebratory event safety law in Public Entertainment and celebratory event Security Act (Republic of Latvia Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2005, no. 14, no. 16; 2008) follows: 1. Turn off the fourth paragraph of article 5.
2. in article 7: put the second part as follows: "(2) on the hearing of the application the place and date of the municipality shall notify the organizer of the event. On the examination of the application to the municipality at its discretion may invite any other State or local government authorities and other professionals. ";
Add to article 3.1 part as follows: "(31) if the planned event is held in the border zone and, in considering the application, the identified threats that the person may illegally cross the State border and move the belongings and goods, bypassing the State border crossing inspections or required for border crossing points, as well as in cases where the relevant territory in the border zone or adjacent neighbouring State border territory is defined in the enhanced border control the organizer of the event, is not given to permit the event. "
3. Add to article 10 with 2.2 part as follows: "(22) if the planned measure is found in the border zone and risk during the event are probably illegal crossing the State border and move the belongings and goods, bypassing the State border crossing inspections or required for border crossing points, as well as in cases where the continuation of public measures pose a threat to persons crossing the border of the country, property and goods movement , border control and the safety and health of persons or in the border zone or in the territory of the country in the territory of neighbouring countries adjacent to have certain enhanced border control, event organizers stopped the measure at the request of the national border guard official.
