The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendment to the law "on especially protected natural territories" do the law "on especially protected natural territories" (Republic of Latvia Supreme Council and Government Informant, 1993, 12./13.nr.; The Saeima of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1997, no. 23; 2002, no. 7; 2003, no. 2; 2004, no. 2; 2005, 20. nr., 2007, no. 12) following amendment: to supplement the law with article 38.1 the following: ' article 38.1. Land transformation and restrictions on protected areas (1) protected areas where common or individual protected area protection and terms of use prohibited land transformation, change of land use category.
(2) the protected areas, which according to General or individual protected area protection and terms of use prohibited land transformation without protected areas administration or regional environmental administrative permission in writing, the use of agricultural land in the category can be changed, if in accordance with the law "on environmental impact assessment requirements have been issued" regional environmental management technical regulations or carried out the environmental impact of preliminary assessment. "
