The Saeima has adopted and the President issued the following law: amendments to the law "on pollution" make law "on pollution" (Latvian Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2001, no. 9; 2002, 16; 2004, nr. 2. No; 2005; 2006, nr. 5, 9. No; 2007, 21, nr. 23) the following amendments: 1. Express article 11 the fifth subparagraph by the following: "(5) the cabinet shall determine the quality requirements and bioeļļ logging works, cutting tools used in bioeļļ used for lubricating and control the agenda."
2. in article 17: make the first part of the second sentence as follows: "except in the programme referred to in the third subparagraph, in the case:";
to make the second and the third part as follows: "(2) the introduction of environmental quality legislative programmes or action programmes for the reduction of pollution, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the laws or, in certain cases, after coordination with the Ministry of environment, where several municipality or municipalities, if they share the program.
(3) action programmes for the reduction of air pollution, development of content and reporting procedures established by the Cabinet of Ministers. "
3. Supplement article 27 1.1 part with point 4 as follows: "4) category B polluting activities when the regional environmental authority or the relevant authorities in addition to the cases provided for in this article has taken a decision on public hearing."
4. Article 32: put the name of the article as follows: "article 32. Category (a) and (B) permit review, renewal and extension ";
to supplement the article with a fifth by the following: "(5) the regional environmental governance, based on the operator's application, extending the category (A) or (B) permit for a period of time not exceeding three years, the period of the extension is planned to totally stop the machine. Such an extension of the authorization granted for only one time. "
The law comes into force on august 1, 2009.
The Parliament adopted the law of 7 May 2009.
