The Saeima has adopted and the President issued the following law: amendments to the law "on pollution" make law "on pollution" (Latvian Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2001, no. 9; 2002, 16; 2004, nr. 2. No; 2005; 2006, nr. 5, 9. No; 2007, 21, nr. 23) the following amendments: 1. Express article 11 the fifth subparagraph by the following: "(5) the cabinet shall determine the quality requirements and bioeļļ logging works, cutting tools used in bioeļļ used for lubricating and control the agenda."
2. in article 17: make the first part of the second sentence as follows: "except in the programme referred to in the third subparagraph, in the case:";

3. Supplement article 27 1.1 part with point 4 as follows: "4) category B polluting activities when the regional environmental authority or the relevant authorities in addition to the cases provided for in this article has taken a decision on public hearing."
4. Article 32: put the name of the article as follows: "article 32. Category (a) and (B) permit review, renewal and extension ";

The law comes into force on august 1, 2009.
The Parliament adopted the law of 7 May 2009.
President Valdis Zatlers in Riga V 2009 may 27 Editorial Note: the law shall enter into force by 1 august 2009.
