The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendments to the law "on technical supervision of dangerous equipment" make law "on technical supervision of dangerous equipment" (Latvian Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1998, nr. 21; 2000, no. 9; 2004, nr. 20; 2005, no. 24; 2008, 15 no; 2009, 1. no) the following amendments: 1. Replace the words "throughout the country in law būvinspekcij" (fold) with the words "Consumer Center" (fold).
2. Replace article 7, the words "Metrology and accreditation agency" with the words "limited liability company" standardization, accreditation and Metrology Centre "Latvian National Accreditation Bureau".
The law shall enter into force on July 1, 2009.
The Parliament adopted the law of 12 June 2009.
