The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the Gauja National park law, chapter I. 8) dumped in the discard of waste, with the exception of landfills and dumps;
9) straightened rivers and streams;
10) move through rivers, lakes and other water bodies with motor boats, water motorcycles and other maritime resources, which operates any type and power engines. 11) damage or destroy natural tourism infrastructure facilities and cognition of objects, information and reference marks;

The neutral zone is designed to promote the park's existing densely populated areas or used for intensive agricultural area of sustainable development. Chapter III.
