The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendment to the law "on the Hague Convention on jurisdiction, applicable law, recognition, enforcement and cooperation in respect of parental responsibility and measures for the protection of children" make law "on the Hague Convention on jurisdiction, applicable law, recognition, enforcement and cooperation in respect of parental responsibility and measures for the protection of children" (Latvian Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2002 22. no; 2003, no. 11; 2004, no. 13; 2009, no. 10) following amendment: replace the words "in article 2 of the children, family and integration Affairs Ministry" with the words "Ministry of Justice".
The law shall enter into force on July 1, 2009.
The Parliament adopted the law of 12 June 2009.
President Valdis Zatlers in Riga V. 26 June 2009 Editorial Note: the law shall enter into force by 1 July 2009.
