The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendments to the law "on lotteries and gambling fee and tax" make law "on lotteries and gambling fee and tax" (Latvian Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1994, nr. 14; 1995, no. 22, no. 9; 1997; 1999, 17, no. 24; 2001, 15, 24 no; 2003, 2, 15, 20, 23 no; 2005, No 14; 2007 8. No.) the following amendments: 1. Express article 3 by the following: ' article 3. With gambling the taxable object is gambling Organizer — the Corporation, gaming venue and gaming equipment. Each furnished or installed directly in gambling venues chargeable tax at the following rates for each of the current calendar year: 1) roulette (cylindrical game) — for every roulette rotating equipment attached table-$ 9600;
2) card and dice games — for each table, $9600;
3) video games and slot machines — for every motor maker each game site-$ 1680. The success of the game by phone gambling tax is 15 percent of the revenue for the organisation of this game.
Gambling tax on gambling and betting is 15 percent of the revenue for the organisation of this game.
Gambling tax about Bingo is 10 percent of the proceeds of the Games organisation.
If gambling organized via telecommunications, gambling tax regardless of the way the game is 10 percent of the proceeds of the Games organisation. "
2. Replace article 7 paragraph 1 of the second paragraph, the number "8" with the number "10".
3. Article 10: replace in the third paragraph, the number "10" with the number "15";
Supplement to the eighth article as follows: "gambling tax about Bingo payable each month under the bingo revenue for the organisation."
The law shall enter into force on July 1, 2009.
The Parliament adopted the law of 16 June 2009.
