The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: law on public transport services to make the public transport Act (Republic of Latvia Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2007, no. 15; 2008, nr. 24) as follows: 1. Article 5: make a third-part 1, 2 and 3 as follows: "1) familiar with the route network of regional routes, local interest, including the regional local routes that provides the municipality movement in urban areas, according to the national budget of the public transport services for the funds concerned after consulting the authorities and the Directorate of road transport;
2) organize public transport services route network in the regional local routes, including those in regional local routes, which provide the municipality movement in urban areas, according to the national budget of the public transport services for the funds concerned after consulting the authorities and the Directorate of road transport;
3) Directorate for coordination of road transport to submit a draft decision on regional local route (route network) or amendment; ".
2. Make 11 the first paragraph of article 2 of the following paragraph: "2) in full from local budgets for this purpose funds — meaning the city route network routes;".
3. transitional provisions: replace paragraph 14, the words and figures "third-part 1, 2 and 5 with the words" figure "and the third subparagraph of paragraph 5;
transitional provisions be supplemented by the following paragraph 18: "18. this law, article 5 of part 1 and 2 listed in the regional local routes, which provide the municipality movement in urban areas by the end of 2009 December 31 understands the importance of the town routes."
The law shall enter into force on July 1, 2009.
The Parliament adopted the law of 16 June 2009.
