The Saeima has adopted and the President issued the following law: amendments to the State social benefits law make the State social benefits law (Republic of Latvia Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2002, nr. 23; 2003; 2004, nr. 2, 5, 24 No; 2005, 22, 24; 2006, nr. 7, 24 no; 2007, 22, nr. 24) as follows: 1. in article 6: make the second part of paragraph 1 by the following: "1") at the age of one year to 15 years; "
Replace paragraph 2 of the second paragraph, the number "20" with the number "19";
make the third paragraph as follows: "(3) the disabled child who has not reached 18 years of age are granted a bonus to the State family benefit set by the Cabinet of Ministers. The right to this bonus a person raising a disabled child from the child's disability is the status date to the date when the child reaches 18 years of age with disabilities, regardless of the State family benefit costs. "
2. in article 17: replace the first paragraph, the words "of children and Family Affairs Ministry" with the words "Ministry of welfare";

14. The law shall enter into force on July 1, 2009.
The Parliament adopted the law of 16 June 2009.
