The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the law of maintenance guarantee fund, in do maintenance Guarantee Fund Act (Republic of Latvia Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2004, nr. 14), the amendments are as follows: 1. Replace article 3, third paragraph, the words "of children and Family Affairs Ministry" with the words "Ministry of Justice".
2. Replace article 7, first paragraph, the words "child and family affairs" with the words "Minister of Justice".
The law shall enter into force on July 1, 2009.
The Parliament adopted the law of 12 June 2009.
