The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendment constitutional protection Office's official retirement pension Act to make the constitutional protection Office's official retirement pension Act (the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2004, no. 2; 2007, nr. 24; 2009, no. 14) following amendment: Add to transitional provisions with 7, 8 and 9 in paragraph by the following: "7. The transitional rules 3, 4, 5 and 6 shall not apply to the beneficiaries of the retirement pension that particular disability.
8. The transitional provisions in paragraph 7, the retirement pension recipients, disability, applies to the first date the next month after the month in which the disability. The application of the rules by the end of the month the first date after the month in which the status of disabled people lost.

The law shall enter into force on 1 November 2009.
