The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: law on public transport services to make the public transport Act (Republic of Latvia Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2007, no. 15; 2008, 24 no; 2009, no. 15) follows: 1. Article 5, third paragraph: Add to paragraph 1, before the word "know" with the words "local interest";
Add to paragraph 2, before the word "organize" with the words "local interest".
2. in article 11: turn off the first part of paragraph 1, the words "regional and local";
to supplement the first part with the 1.1 and 1.2 of paragraph 1 by the following: ' 11) from the State budget funds for this purpose: the regional local route network routes;
12) from municipal budget funds-regional local route network routes on their public transport service in order to exceed this part of the provision of services for the State budget frame; "
Add to the second part of paragraph 3 with the following: "3) State budget for public transport services to regional local routes funds distributed between the planning regions."
3. To supplement the transitional provisions with paragraph 19 by the following: "19. After this the transitional provisions referred to in point 14 of the entry into force of the amendment of the planning region, are familiar with a route network in its own territory and organizing public transport services on the basis of the current year's budget to that for financial resources, the report of the regional local route network routes."
The law shall enter into force on January 1, 2010.
The law adopted by the Parliament in 2009 on 1 December.
