The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the law on Ombudsman amended Citizenship Act in (the Republic of Latvia Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2006, nr. 10; 2008, 13. no; 2009, 2., no. 14) the following amendments: 1. Express article 17 as follows: "article 17. Ombudsman Ombudsman remuneration remuneration determined in accordance with national and local government bodies and officials of employee rewards to the law. "
2. Express article 20 the following: "article 20. Remuneration of employees in the Office of the Ombudsman (1) the Office of the Ombudsman for employees governed by the labour law.
(2) the remuneration of the employees of the Office of the Ombudsman shall be determined according to national and local government bodies and officials of employee rewards to the law. "
The law shall enter into force on January 1, 2010.
The law adopted by the Parliament in 2009 on 1 December.
