The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the law on competition to make the competition law (Republic of Latvia Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2001, nr. 22; 2004, nr. 10; 2008, 9, 24 no; 2009, nr. 14), the amendments are as follows: 1. Article 5: replace the first part of the word "four" with the word "two";
replace the sixth paragraph, the words "at least three" with the word "all" and the word "three" with the word "two".
2. transitional provisions be supplemented with paragraph 11 and 12 as follows: "11. amendments of article 5 of this law in the first and sixth part (about the competition, the reduction in number of the members of the Council) shall enter into force on March 1, 2010.
12. The Cabinet of Ministers, subject to the civil law and other legislation, take the necessary steps to ensure that, from 1 March 2010, the competition Council shall consist of the Chairman and two members of the Council of competition. "
