The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the law of universities to make the University Act (Republic of Latvia Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1996, nr. 1; 1997, no. 3; 2001, nr. 1; 2003; 2004, nr. 12, 5.13. No No 21; 2005; 2006; 2007, no. 8., 6., no. 11; 2008, no. 15; 2009, 2., no. 14) the following amendments: 1. Express article 4 paragraph 3 of part three of the "e" in subparagraph by the following : "e) monthly salary rate that is not less than the Cabinet's specified rates;".
2. Turn off the third subparagraph of article 27.
3. Add to article 43 of the fourth subparagraph by the following: "(4) the remuneration of the General high school or College staff who are not educators, according to the list of posts for teachers, State universities and colleges established in shall be determined in accordance with State and local officials and employees of the institutions of the law of compensation."
4. Express article 74 of the fourth subparagraph by the following: "(4) the President of the Council of higher education of the remuneration shall be determined in accordance with State and local officials and employees of the institutions of the law of compensation."
5. the transitional provisions be supplemented by the following paragraph 28: "28.2010 and 2011 State founded in the University and college academic staff not paid bonuses and prize money, the stimulus material, but the benefits are paid in accordance with State and local officials and employees of the institutions of the law of compensation."
The law shall enter into force on January 1, 2010.
