The Saeima has adopted and the President issued the following law: amendments to the law "on State social insurance" to make the law "on State social insurance" (Latvian Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1997, nr. 22; 1998, no. 15; 1999, no. 24; 2001, 15., 17. No, no; 2002; 2003; 2004, nr. 9, 5. No; 2005, 8, 24; 2006, nr. 14. No; 2007, 3, 12, 24 no; 2008 15. no; 2009, 3, nr. 15) the following amendments: 1. Supplement article 6 with 3.2 part as follows: "(32) natural persons carrying out economic activity and paid for it patentmaks, is subject to pension insurance, disability insurance, maternity and sickness insurance as well as insurance, but persons who have reached the age giving entitlement to State old-age pension is subject to pension insurance, maternity and sickness insurance and parents insurance."
2. Supplement article 14 to the fourteenth and fifteenth part as follows: "(14) the second part of this article, payment specified in the minimum amount of the object and the fifth part payment of a maximum amount does not apply to the natural persons carrying out economic activity and paid for it patentmaks.
(15) natural persons carrying out economic activity and paid for it patentmaks, the State revenue service calculates the payment object according to the special budget for payment account. "
3. Add to article 20 of the sixth subparagraph after the word "the" with the words "Self-employed (excluding natural persons carrying out economic activity and paid for it patentmaks)".
4. Supplement article 21, third paragraph, after the word "the" with the words "Self-employed (excluding natural persons carrying out economic activity and paid for it patentmaks)".
5. Supplement article 23, the second paragraph after the word "the" with the words "self-employed (excluding natural persons carrying out economic activity and paid for it patentmaks)".
The law shall enter into force on January 1, 2010.
The Parliament adopted Act of 2009 on December 3.
