The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendment to the law "on State secrets" to make the law "on State secrets" (Latvian Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1996, nr. 22; 1997, no. 10; 1998, nr. 1, 14; 1999, no. 8; 2000, No 14; 2002, no. 2, 2004, 24; 2, 7, 13; 2005, nr. 8. No; 2006, nr. 12; 2007, nr. 6, 9.; 2008 13. No.) following amendment: Add to article 7 at the ninth subparagraph by the following: "(9) military intelligence and security service of the Republic of Latvia, the national signals intelligence authority takes control of signals intelligence and information sharing with foreign institutions, international organizations and their institutions, as well as undertake protection measures."
The Parliament adopted the law in 2009 December 10.
