The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the civil service disciplinary actions in the law to make the civil service disciplinary actions in the law (the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2006, nr. 12; 2008, nr. 24) as follows: 1. in article 18: Add to the first part of paragraph 6 by the following: "6) Finance Minister for law, for appropriate action under budget.";
make the second paragraph as follows: "(2) If the disciplinary procedure initiated by the first part of this article 1, 2, 5 or 6 that authority or official, it informs about the initiation of the institution in which the official performs a public service."
2. Supplement article 31 to the fifth subparagraph by the following: "(5) the disciplinary decisions with which the officials found guilty of acts of inappropriate action with financial means, then, when it became the undisputed or on the entry into force of the court order, that decision maker sent to the State Chancellery within three working days of the State Chancellery shall be published on the homepage in the internet."
3. Article 36: to supplement the first subparagraph following the words "exercise of poor quality" by the words "including law, for appropriate action by the financial resources";
replace the third paragraph, the words "exercise of poor quality with the intention of" with the words "poor quality, including law, for appropriate action by the financial resources".
4. Add to article 42 of the law with the following: "article 42. Non-observance of political neutrality (1) for a failure of political neutrality by performing duties, scolding the reduced salary for a period of three months to one year, to 20 percent withholding of salary, or lowers the post for a period of up to three years.
