The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: Chernobyl nuclear power plant emergency relief actors and Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident victims as a result of the social protection act to make the Chernobyl nuclear power plant emergency relief actors and Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident victims as a result of the social protection Act (Republic of Latvia Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1999, no. 20; 2004, nr. 14, 7. No; 2007) follows : 1. Replace article 6, the words "public limited company" with the words "public limited liability company".
2. Express transitional provisions in paragraph 1 by the following: "1. Invalidity pensions and survivors ' pensions granted before the date of entry into force of the law, and the amount of compensation calculated, converted, subject to the following conditions: 1) the conversion shall be carried out using the following formula: P = 90% VS x d, where P is pension amount (in LCY), VS-pay: of the Central Statistical Bureau estimated average monthly gross wages of public sector workers for the I quarter 2010 (in dollars) , or the degree of loss of capacity: (in percent);
2) all disability pensions and survivors ' pensions granted before the date of entry into force of the law, and the amount of compensation calculated, translated by July 1, 2010;
3) if the amount of the pension is recalculated after a State on July 1, 2010 is less than it was before the conversion, saves the previous pension;
4) If a person with the invalidity pension, after July 1, 2010 changes the degree of loss of capacity (in percentage) or disability severity, pension adjustment, use the formula specified in paragraph 1, on the basis of the new capacity loss factor (percentage) and all of the indexes, which are in accordance with the law "on State pensions" applied to the pension as concerned during the period from 1 July 2010 to the pension adjustment;

The law shall enter into force on July 1, 2010.
