The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendment to the law "on the Convention on the abolition of legalization of documents of the European Community Member States" to make the law "on the Convention on the abolition of legalization of documents of the Member States of the European communities" (Latvian Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2002, No 21) following amendment: to supplement the law with article 6 by the following: "article 6. In accordance with article 6 of the Convention, the third part of the Republic of Latvia declares that the Convention shall apply in their relations with Member States which have provided for the same kind of statement. "
The Parliament adopted the law of 20 May 2010.
