The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendments to the law "on election canvassing before the parliamentary elections and European Parliament elections" to make the law "on election canvassing before the parliamentary elections and European Parliament elections" (Latvian Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1995, no. 18; 1998, no. 21; 2002, nr. 16; 2004, nr. 7; 2005, 20 no, 5 no, 2009) the following amendments: 1. Add to article 2 to 2.1 2.2 and 2.3, part as follows: "this article (21) referred to in the second subparagraph of canvassing has received payment and the NGO law, contrary to the provisions of this isn't specified, it constitutes a hidden election canvassing. For payment within the meaning of this law considered any remuneration, including any economic benefits, services, transfer of rights, exoneration from responsibility, waiver of any right in favour of another person, etc. (22) the hidden election canvassing is prohibited.

2. in article 7: Add to the first part of the third sentence and 2.1 subparagraph, the first sentence after the word "pricing" with the words "the entire election canvassing period";

7. Supplement article 27.1 of chapter V with the following: "article 27.1. 8) other information as political organization, political organisations, parliamentary candidate or article 28 of this law the persons referred to in the first subparagraph shall be considered as significant.

9. Supplement article 35 after the word "expenses" with the word "internet".
10. To supplement the law with article 36 as follows: "article 36. The law shall enter into force on the day following its promulgation.
