The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the law on amendments to the reclamation to make reclamation Act (Latvian Journal No 12, 2010) the following amendments: 1. Express article 1, paragraph 3 as follows: "3) national drainage system is a State-owned drainage system operation and maintenance, the exercise of State;".

3. Express article 27 the following: "article 27. State reclamation systems and national reclamation system construction, reconstruction and renovation, operation and maintenance is financed from the respective national budget. "
4. Turn off the transition rules 2, 3, and 6.
The law shall enter into force on July 1, 2010.
