The Saeima has adopted and the President issued the following law: amendments to the law "on State social insurance" to make the law "on State social insurance" (Latvian Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1997, nr. 22; 1998, no. 15; 1999, no. 24; 2001, 15., 17. No, no; 2002; 2003; 2004, nr. 9, 5. No; 2005, 8, 24; 2006, nr. 14. No; 2007, 3, 12, 24 no; 2008 15. no; 2009, no. 3, 15; Latvian journal, 2009, 199.200. no; 2010, 94 no). the amendments are as follows: 1. Article 1, paragraph 2: Add to the "a" section with the words "excluding" micro-enterprises;
to complement the point with "i" section in the following wording: "(i) micro employee;").
2. Supplement article 5 with the sixth part as follows: "(6) micro-enterprise staff are insured in accordance with the tax laws of micro-enterprises."
3. Supplement article 6 with the eighteenth as follows: "(18) a Person who is registered as employees and micro enterprises which, by making the same income while meeting other social status of the person to be insured, social insurance is exposed as a micro."
4. in article 14: adding to article 2.1 of the part as follows: "(21) self-employed payment facility is not included in the agricultural State aid or support from the European Union for agriculture and rural development and the lump sum grant unemployed business plan."
replace the fifteenth paragraph, the words "the State revenue service" with the words "State social insurance agency".
5. Add to article 27.1 of the 3.1 part as follows: "(31) If in connection with the death has occurred of social security services or the State social benefit overpayments, the credit institution after the Agency's written request from the individual account released to the Agency, to the transfer to the account specified by, the resulting overpayment to the extent that it does not exceed the deceased's account of available funds, and the credit report fee for the transfer."
6. transitional provisions be supplemented with 48 as follows: "48. Persons who, until the 2010 September 1 have taken the mandatory contributions of this law article 14, part 2.1 payments has the right to choose not to make mandatory contributions for the period from 1 January 2010 to 31 august."
The law shall enter into force on September 1, 2010.
The Saeima adopted the law on august 9, 2010.
