The Saeima has adopted and the President issued the following law: amendments to the law "on accounting" make law "on accounting" (the Republic of Latvia Supreme Council and Government Informant, 1992, 44/45.nr.; The Saeima of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1995, nr. 3, 23; in 1996, no 24; 1999, no. 15; 2000, no. 10; 2003, no. 12; 2004, no. 6; 2006, no. 10; 2009, no. 9; Latvian journal 2010, nr. 102) the following amendments: 1. in article 15: turn off the second sentence of the first subparagraph;
to turn off the second part.
2. in article 15.2: make the third paragraph as follows: "the Council may set up working groups or technical committees of Latvia accounting standards and the development of the draft amendments, to examine the accounting industry and other general issues of accounting methodology and provide your own suggestions and explanations on them. ';
to supplement the article with the fourth paragraph as follows: "the Latvian accounting standards is a regulatory accounting regulations, European Union law and the review of accounting and international accounting standards Board issued international accounting standards and international financial reporting standards and the harmonised general instructions applicable to many financial statement items in recognition, evaluation and explanation on them."
3. To supplement the transitional provisions with paragraph 8 by the following: "8. The amendments to this law, the first subparagraph of article 15 in relation to the exclusion of the second sentence shall take effect July 1, 2011."
The law shall enter into force on January 1, 2011.
