The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the historic centre of Riga in the conservation and protection of the law to make Riga historic centre preservation and Protection Act (Republic of Latvia Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2003, no. 13, no. 12; 2005) follows: 1. Replace the third paragraph of article 9, the words "regional development and Municipal Affairs" with the words "the protection of the environment and Minister for regional development".

The law shall enter into force on January 1, 2011.
