The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the law of road transport road transport Act (do the Latvian Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1995, nr. 20; 1997, no. 8; 1998, nr. 24; 1999, no. 21; 2001, 1., no. 12; 2002, 12, No 23. Express article 4 by the following: "article 4. In the road sector management and surveillance (1) public administration in the area of road transport, in accordance with this law and other legislative requirements within the limits of its competence, shall exercise the Ministry of Transport Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of finance, Ministry of welfare, and the Ministry of local government and municipal authorities subordinated to, including individuals and institutions within the delegated administration tasks.
(2) the Ministry of transportation, Ministry of Internal Affairs and their subordinated institutions within the limits of its competence by the State supervision over law and other regulatory compliance in the area of road transport, as provided for in the regulations issued by transport related documents, cooperate with other competent authorities in the area of road transport, as well as carrying out other legal tasks.
(3) transport control within its competence, exercise the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of finance, local government and the Ministry of local government and subordinated authorities, carriers, as well as other laws and regulations of certain persons and institutions.
(4) the order in which the organisation and control of road transport shall be determined by the Cabinet of Ministers. "
2. Turn off 5.2 article.
3. To supplement the law with article 5.3 as follows: "article 5.3. State police state police carried out the supervision and control of road transport to ensure the laws of the Republic of Latvia and the Republic of Latvia binding international laws and appropriate road transport. "
The law shall enter into force on 1 April 2011.
